What am i doing? What you need to do get by
Why does this happen? Doesn't matter, no answer you can possibly come up with will be sufficient
Are we making the right decision? If it is toward change (because the status quo hasn't been working to your satisfaction), then yes, it is the right decision, at this time, for you
Am i making the right decision? If it is toward change (because the status quo hasn't been working to your satisfaction), then yes, it is the right decision, at this time, for you
How much more can i take, before i can no longer take it. Doesn't matter since your answer will change depending upon circumstances and mood - do NOT set a negative goal for yourself!
Who do i turn to when i cant take it any longer.. Your wife, your father, FHC, Crisis Hotline

Don't take my "doesn't matter" answers as flippant - they aren't. there are so many questions that we ask ourselves that the answers we come up with do not satisfy us so we keep asking more - and there is no answer that will show us anything except what idiots/ef ups/jerks we are - because that is the only answer that makes sense to us (and make us feel worse) - doesn't matter what reality is, we will find a way to make it all our fault, all to the bad, and all for naught. Our heads are our own worst enemies and we think too much.

Hope you can work it out get the voices silenced for a while.

Almost time to move some firewood again. I'm going to have to cover what I don't get under roof with tarps. Lots of rain coming Sunday and Monday.

LinkedXJ I think two very important things you can take away from bogieb post are:

    1. You're not alone. Lots of people out there to help. You've got my number if you think that helps, just give me a call.

    2) This is a personal journey. Everyone who goes through it goes through it differently. Don't judge yourself by what others do or have done. Take it easy on yourself.

Reminds me of when my son was around 14 years old, he is now 38. He saw a 'possum under one of my apple trees. "Can I shot it dad." Get your rifle and have at it. He made his shot and it rolled over like in your picture. He put the rifle down and ran down to it. Picked it up by the tail to show off his prize. It came alive.
One of them "Kodak Moments" when you didn't have your camera.
My responds was, "Why do you think they say they play dead."

All 10 face cord of Maple now moved under the covered porch. This was the least seasoned stuff and will be burned last. Then another two face cord of Pine and Ash. My son helped out after he got home from school. :handshake: Tomorrow afternoon there will be another push to get some more in before the rain on Sunday and Monday.

After doing some work (painted the front axle with POR) on the tractor we put in two loads of pine and then I dropped the covers down so the shoulder season wood is fully covered. We could be in for a 3-5 inches of rain starting on Sunday.

Just a picture of part of the first load we put in, we have three racks full, two with pine and the third with some hardwood.

Finally got around to finishing the plumbing for the baseboard heat today. I'm hoping by next fall to have all the steel lines ripped out and replaced with pex...and a new wood boiler chooching the system. All it takes is time and money.

Tomorrow I'll install a pet door on the new garage entry door, fix some wiring, and who knows what else between trips to the woods to see about some groceries.

Sipping a bourbon and watching the series now.

Off on Monday then a road trip south next week.
