It's not severe Gasifier but we should find out what gusty is. Showers with a few embedded thunderstorms will develop late Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday Night. A few of the stronger storms over northern New York will be capable of localized gusty winds and brief heavy down pours. The thunderstorm activity is expected to remain below severe weather thresholds and spread into Vermont during the evening hours.
Recieved quite a bit of rain since late Tuesday with another inch to add to the 4.04" that has already fell. This is much needed rain, and the brooks and rivers are moving!
It's been a dry month of October for us too. It looks like we have a system moving up the east coast that will have some strong winds if you live on the coast, 74 mph plus. I'm not sure on the winds for us yet but they say we'll receive two inches of rain over a two day span.
I just saw on TV that Weather Underground is calling for this area to receive 3-5 inches of rain from the storm I was talking about.
For us closer to the coast, Sunday night into Monday. My area forecast is 1-3 inches of rain, and heavy wind, with possible coastal flooding.

I dumped the rain gauge when it had 1.75" of rain on Wenesday afternoon. Yesterday afternoon, I had another 2" but didn't dump the gauge so I'll have to see what it says when I get home (had rain last night). Yep, another storm Sunday/Monday with potential of several inches.
Better spray a little sillycone on her shovel...................that way when goes up along side your head with it, it will slide right off with a glancing blow and not leave a mark................
Looking to be a real wet and windy one. Now heading in on Sunday. More wind and less rain on the coast, but still a lot of both where ever you are in New England.
