I haven't even fired up my house stove this season… I have a fan blowing heat from the Englander in the shop into my kitchen door…

I should mention my shop is 75' from my kitchen door….

When you are old and the boss hasn't allowed you to plump up for a proper hibernation you use every advantage possible to avoid temps below 65 including not looking to see what the temperature is.

A lot of us will admit to having seen many falls, now we try to avoid them.

Now where did I put that 'tis medication.

I thought you were a relative young one, 28 shouldn't be a problem. It was mid teens here this morning according to the boss, it was 22.4 when I looked before going out to tend the birds, they were not happy this morning. Ice in their water dishes, I've got to put the waterer on its heater, this is a bit early usually it is the end of this month first of next that the heater goes back in the big coop.

A better plan would be a bit of heat below the thermometers that way it reads higher than the rest of the place is.

That reminds me, during one of the energy crisis, the engineers decided what temperature the patients wards would be.
They didn't get the cooperation they wanted so they put plastic surround lock boxes over all the thermostats. The nursing staff retaliated by filling disposable gloves with ice and putting them on the boxes!
