What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

Pretty dam cold for rain, here anyway. Going to -15 tonight. What's your temp in that area? Looks like they were wrong about heavy anything for precipitation in our area. We have been getting pesky little amounts of snow lately though.

 

A cool 18 this morning and it might hit 40 today.
I got it in the back this morning, which is very rare, hope I can work it out.
Was supposed to be in the woods this a.m. but the dirty hippy I cut firewood with must be sleeping in..dagone dirty hippies!! LOL

HAPPY FRIDAY!!! I am on the verge of a 4 day weekend. I need to burn something. Ha ha. Maybe bake something. Definitely spending a lot of time in the woods. And as always...music.

Naw, I don't reckon he's really dirty! He's a good guy, known him since I was a kid. It's his acreage we cut on and he's got a lil' 33 H.P. tractor that's real handy, although my old truck does all the hauling and my saws and splitter make the firewood. It works out well,,,when he aint sleeping in!!!
A couple of the 18-19 year olds out here have parents my age and one of 'em ask me not long ago, "Dohn, were you a hippy?" LOL!! I told 'em not really, but I am a child of the 70's-80's,,,,wink,wink!!

I've got Thursday here, which means I have 3 more mins before the bank opens. Still trying to get them to approve the transaction for my stove... And then off to the dentist.

 

Last week I layed up 4 loads. This week,,,nadda'. Monday, road trip to a concert, Tues. was a day of rest(after getting home from concert) and yesterday, my quick trip to town ended up in an all day circle jerk chasing small household business details.
Today,,,,here I sit banging away on the 'puter...I'm about a sorry azz!! LOL.
I swear I'm gonna' have the woodshed full before I break out my fishin' rods,,,,Honest!!

Good morning gents. Rainy and about 38-40 degrees here this a.m. We had some big ole snów flakes fall last night but it didnt amount to anything. I hope to take the family up to my dads this weekend. Ill be takin the 372 with me. Ive got a good piece of oak to work her out in. Ill try and get a vif of her. Gonna take a while to get her broken in but, will be fun doing it. Y'all have a good day and great weekend.

 

Had to bring some wood in this morning. Got behind with four 12 hour days at work. Going into the woods today though , right after I finish the bills and errands.

 

-9 F here this morning when I looked at the thermometer. I think the birds are getting a bit **ssed by now.
