Had this one today on my 2 + hour drive. It's rated as a full, but I think it comes in a little less than that. Very good, it reminded me of the vintage 1990. That makes one cigar all week long (since Sun eve) for those of you counting. Eric VW
I just smoked a 1990 last week, they are a good cigar but they give me a head buzz which I dont like, I have had cigars that have plenty of flavor but dont give me a head buzz and you almost need a roach clip to finish it it's so good. Have not found those kind of cigars lately so been buying samplers, the Rocky Patel Ocean Club I mentioned above did not make me dizzy or give me a buzz.
Yeah, I can't stand the nicotine affect either. Funny, the 1990 didn't have that effect on me. Haven't tried the Ocean Club. Haven't seen it, either. Found this and so far it sounds great!
I pretty much research on Cigars International and then bid for results on Cigar Bid. I got those premiums for a little less than 1/2 the price advertised on CI.
From what I understand the Ocean Club is only available at Holts. I need a cigar that has a good amount of flavor with a low amount of nicotine I guess.
I have been slowly cutting back also. Down to 2 a week now. And yes, pipe here too. Lane 1Q for this guy.
Sounds like a good one I would enjoy . Like you as I've gotten older I don't need as much nicotine or overwhelming flavors . I think Cigar Obsession tells it like it is and is the most accurate

I finished off the other RP 1990 last night and the buzz was not bad but there was a little. Of the RP cigars in my sampler (Luxury Collection) I think the Ocean Club was my favorite.
"Ok, lets get it cut up and start toasting." "So right away, it has a strong peppery taste, with a bit of sweetness and a smooth finish" "So lets see what happens after the 1st third and see if it stays the same or gets a stronger flavor....."
I don't think I'll ever taste all those flavors, nuances, hints, anf what ever else they use to describe cigars. For me, it's I like it or I don't like it! (Usually judged by if I have to spit or not)
