Sounds like the same thing as we have.

The winds have been howling for some time now, they'll only get stronger throughout the day and the temps will be dropping form the 40 I have now.

It is about 63 here this morning @ 08:50. A good amount of rain is now coming down. No wood burning fires yet.

3 splits of cherry and it's the first inside fire of the season (10-24-17). Todays high 53° rain and clouds and it's 67° inside, but I just lit the stove.

It was a bit below freezing last night, but we're sitting at 0 C (32 F) at the moment. Won't be long now until all temps are stuck on the below freezing side, another week or so. Poplar as always keeping the chill away.

Small fire this morning. Probably shouldn’t have as its warming up right now but headed to the Pumpkin Patch with my daughter today and we’ll be able to evacuate that heat a little.

It was 69 this morning when we crawled out of bed, I think the high was 72 before the front moved in dropping the temps to 57 with some good rains.

We too had a high wind advisory but I see they've really cut back on how high the gusts will be now; only 24 mph today. I can live with that.

They had us grouped in with Saranac Lake NY and some of Vermont which means we usually won't get the high wind gust.

Any shovel I get for 99 wouldn't hurt my back.

Honestly, I don't like her shoveling as it isn't good for her either. I always get it done before she has a chance to "help".

Then moan and groan and wait for a rub!!!! :handshake:

It's 70° here, humid, and the wind has picked up. I think all our maple leaves will be on the ground tomorrow. Along with lots of pine needles.

We have a few burbot around here but Ive never caught one. We have a mix of species here. Some kokanee salmon (yum!), lakers, rainbow, bull trout, brookies and cuththroat. A few hours away I can get into some pike. Youre making me want to go fishing! I should put the boat in the water while I still can.

Yes you should. We have poke here and there, not ice fishing targets. I mostly go after rainbows. I have two great rainbow lakes. I miss Brooke’s. No land locked salmon that I am aware of, at least near by. We summer fish for ocean run silver/reds.
