Just unloaded a ton of Fireside Ultras from HD today.
Wareham, Ma HD only brand they had in stock.
Got 'em for $249.00 not a deal but was running out of days.
Plus, I had my kid around to help unload them :D

So 1 ton in and 2-1/2 more to go.
Now looking for softies for those cold nights.
Might get a load of HHO if the price dips below $1.75 hovering at the $2.01 mark today. o_O

I'm finally burning the ashy Timber Heat I bought last year. Turns out that these make a pretty good shoulder pellet. They always had decent heat, but the ash became bothersome with extended burns. But this time of year just burning in the morning and evenings it's no big deal. I scrape the ash out of the burn pot and leave the partially burned pellets and the stove it usually burning pretty good before the initial feed is finished. Run an hour and a half in the morning and repeat in the evening. Working pretty good.

If they were cheap and give good heat, extra ash doesn't bother the stove (I know yours doesnt care about excess ash) so go with it for this time of year!!
