    Yes there are moose in CT. Not a lot but the population is growing. Bears on the other hand are abundant and they are a giant pain in the azz!

    Too bad you cant hunt them. damm black bears are dangerous. While we have both grizz and black. The Grizz do their own thing and don't want to be bothered, bother them and you have made issues. Black bear are unpredictable here in Alaska they are the killers. I am not saying that grizz don't kill people in Alaska, you can read the story and figure out pretty quickly why. However the Black bears, you read the story and ????? what is going on here. This is not making any sense. I don't have the first hand info, this is gas station talk. I know a few that work there and know it happened just don't know all the details. Down the road a few geologist were attacked. Was 3 people and at least one was killed the others malled, Never heard the update on the injured, was a small 150 pound bear. Happened in Delta Junction, at the POGO gold mine.
