I had an Ariens, that I bought used, 40 years ago...
I sold it... got a John Deere.... the guy that bought it is still using it!
Meanwhile... I have a fairly new snowblower that once warmed up, if I shut it down for a few minutes
    does not like to restart...

Wait, you bought a Honda engine something a few years ago. Was it this Toro?

    Unlike !

The Honda blowers have gotten way too expensive now, but the Hydrostatic drive is really nice (Both of my blowers have had this) and the engines seem to just keep on going.

The Toro still runs just way to small for the current driveway. I also have two Ariens that are larger, one of which needs a new impeller which is in the garage. A bit of an installation issue for me.

I also have a Honda mower that needs a new mower deck the mower is a 1986 or so model. Replaced it with a Husvarna with a Honda engine a couple years ago. I use it inside the fenced garden area.

We did his first attempt ended with him stuck up to the top of his wheels, this year I'll take that job back as no coop to get a path to and the snowblower is an easy turn beast. I handled the walking paths last year.

Just about every snow storm last winter was a 2'+ beast here. Not good for most pickemup trucks now Cory had the getup thankfully.

As long as I get in my walking I have more than a couple of hours with decent BP. For the folks out there I'm one of the few who can feel the BP when it goes high. Call it a curse or blessing it just is.

It's been a great weather week / weekend here - lots of stuff done. Had the Taurus and one of the '00 Kia Sportage's towed out this week, really needed the room. Have to make a decision on the wife's '01 Sportage this week: either try to repair, or send off to the wrecker.

Seems every time I make a repair, something else breaks.. Sigh. It's making the decision easier for me, anyways.

Also got the yard mowed, can't tell after 2 days w/ the leaves all over it.. Round 2 this week.

Have been sloooowly working on the Combustion and Room air blowers for the Englander here, just a little more cleanup and they're good-to-go for install. The wood shed is looking "better", well it was before all the car contents was transferred there b4 towing - I see a busy town dump weekend in my immediate future.

Hope everyone is enjoying good weather, and keeping warm if not - don't worry Skeeeter, you'll be playing with fire soon enough.

I am all for keeping a vehicle going as long as I can and not having another monthly :emptywallet:, but when it gets to this point you are just :headbang:
