They were spot on. "The History Of the Eagles" is the tour name and it wasn't just a greatest hits concert, played note for note, they JAMMED, like they were having fun.. The whole crew was there and of course Joe Walsh tore down the house.
The sound was excellant. We had pretty good seats, as well.

No shame on you for that! Sounds like you made some very sound decisions and that was a great time! I went to see the Eagles during their Hell Freezes Over Tour at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC). Excellent.

    • I loved playing Joe's tunes back when I was first learning how to play drums in the early 70s. Heard the Eagles do RMW now and it was perfect Joe. It's incredible, to me, to see and hear these guys now. I'll bet you had a ball…

how are you securing/anchoring the seams that don't fall on a nailer?
Not being critical, just curious. Looks very nice.

We don't, we just try to make sure that on every other row the seam comes close to the studs. This room was a little different because it is really narrow so we wanted the boards going that way. Usually we go the other way with them so they line up better. This room we had to drop the ceiling down and use 2x4's. Going the other way with them it would look like a tunnel I think. This is what that room looks like completed.

Today I guesstimated how much wood will take me to the end. I brought up my last load of this seasons wood to the covered porch and stacked it (again).
I have 3/4 of a cord and some shoulder wood for April and some of May. I hope this is it. Last year I was chucking wood off the porch back to the stacks.

Snowing here now, got a coating. 25 deg. Can't be much more of this left

Gas, I hope your copy of the almanac is wrong on March 4-7. I'd be happy with some rain vs. the snow
