The 4 hour drive back this morning was a breeze!

Even stopped for about 25 min at Fleet n Farm and at a gas station and STILL made it in under 4 hours!

Without the stops, I should have been right around 3 1/2.

    (Yes, I was by myself)

The homeowner is leaning towards giving the Burnham boiler to a family member of his. The guy he's dealing with has not called back to express interest one way or another. You'd think he would have done that by now. :picard:

I will ask him once again next week....I'm thinking all the old copper and baseboard registers and zone valves would be thrown into a pile for the grabbing also....not sure. If things work out in your favor, we can go over more details. Like one detail is that I don't think you'd want any of the old baseboards......

He is changing over to forced air since he wants/needs air filtration and central air. Period! Was not interested in a mini-split. Didn't like the unit hanging off a wall somewhere in the house, you see.

The lake was a very pretty blue today, I snapped a pic, but it did not do it justice. Anywho Canadian border VT , I was told the reason it's so blue so often is because it's very alkaline, the aquifers here too and answers why the wells drilled here clogged the plumbing depsite aggressive treatment......

So WWW and lil one just went fishing. I took this pic for the blue lake, but they are going to the point on the right of this pic :)

Just got through a 7.5 hr power outage. campinspecter was in the shower when it happened. Bathroom has no windows so it was very, very dark. I had to answer the phone for 300 sets of parents asking about what we were going to do with the school. Gets rather tricky as we have students coming from other communities so everything has to be timed for buses and ferries. Fortunately our computer tech was in the building and he rigged up a battery for our ancient intercom system. Our bell system will have to be reset for tomorrow morning. It goes back to Jan 1, 1988 when it was first installed and wipes out any programming.

Good morning, 45 to 70 and sunshine today.
Wrastled, trimmed and fought with a bunch of tree trimmer wood yesterday, whatta' P.I.T.A.,,had 3 loads from a junky old soft maple @ the FIL's, and 1/2 load I scored. Still have about 1/2 a truckload out there.
Those tree trimmers don't make any flush cuts on the limbs,,none,,(it'll burn better than snowballs thru shoulder season)

Have a good day out there. Peace.
