Lil one's shot has been scheduled for over month now (this Friday). Today she got off the bus complaining of a headache. I'm praying it's just a cold bug.

Anyone hear of Lacrete having a fire causing a shortage of their pellets? My local pellethouse is out and backlogged of a few shipments. He says that they are getting back online though and should be shipping shortly

Yeah, me too (except that boat thing :D). I gotta get the garden hoses rolled up and tucked away, mow the leaves (a couple of times), put away tools/buckets that are at the side of the house, get the new snow blower oiled/gassed up and see if I can figure out all the controls (many more than my old one), clean the P43 for the first time this season - and I'm sure there are a few things I have forgotten to put on that list.

There have been several fires this summer fall - maybe the Prince George fire is related. Or maybe this sawmill fire - where they lost all their chips.

I saw both of those last night after posting and thinking that maybe these are related somehow but couldnt connect the dots. May be related?

Luckily I have 3 ton of LaCrete in the basement-HEY, maybe I can sell them for 500/ton due to short supply just like the oil companies do :D

Hey, I just think they are related because they are in Canada - heck, could be over by Alaska for all I know ;)

I think you have a good plan on making a profit though :D

I was at Lowes in Rochester Monday night and saw Greene Team for 6.29/bag which equals 314.50/ton
Given that price, I should get 700/ton for Lacrete :p

All the Lowe's down here are fully loaded with Cheat's, NA's a,d GTP....it's going to be a slow testing year for me it seems. I still have a few thing from last season yet to test though.

the mill had an 'electrical fire' around the 5th of September. supposed to be back on line at the end of this week, but we'll see. I got one load in that was in distribution (all sold). probably won't see another till the end of Nov.

Hope so, especially if it's a common staple type of pellets:thumbs:

Pretty much under the radar as I couldn't find anything about it.

Was placing an order for my honey that was between LaCrete and Crabbe depending on price difference. This solved that question. She used Crabbe all last year as did I. They burned well for both of us and I still have a ton left over.

I guess it's a good thing that we both have Crabbe at the same time. No explaining
