I looked, and yes, they do sell car batteries. It looks like they only sell the AGM type battery though. I imagine they don't want battery acid dripping during shipment. :bug:

Almost no birds here for the last few weeks. Very quiet in that respect. Don't know what is up. Same thing observed by other birders all over this area.

It's going to get down to 38° tonight. I had brought in all the tropical and subtropical plants tonight. Some went in the garage, some into the house like the hibiscus, mandevilles, palms, and jasmine.

I do this to extend the growing season.

But after this evening, it will be pretty warm at least through next Saturday.

non spillable batteries can be shipped without any issue. A regular lead acid battery opens a new can of worms from the hazmat side of things that they likely arent interested in.

Amazon may not sell batteries, but I do :) Though, the kind I sell would have to go in the bed of your truck. Some of them weighing more than some trucks actually

You can mail order lead acid batterys, but they come dry, you have to go find a store that will fill it

Good for you! A little later, physical therapy would help to increase your range of motion. Take care of yourself!

The boiler is a burnham brand, not Weil McClain.

The homeowner is unsure what to do with it at this time as he may have promised it to someone already.

I didn't look at it much, but think it is around 80K BTU. It would include the venting (stainless pipe in good condition-very clean-asst'd fittings). Also the LP kit was in it before the boiler was moved. He thinks it is 10 years old as the install date was in 07.

I will see him Tue and ask again, if you would like me to.

Pouring rain this morning on our walk. The dogs stayed under the covers in the bed. We braved the elements. It is hard to go out in it but once I am outside, I enjoy it.

Guess my truck has small 800 amp batteries, found one in town, one coming up tomorrow from Colorado. Hopefully it will atleast turn over so we can bring it home instead of sitting on the lake with the windows down.
