Just max of 10 cord per household per year Can cut any tree inside the cutting area , birch, spruce mostly.
I took these pics today of a relatively dry spruce round. Its from a tree I dropped earlier in the day.
I get this when I find a patch of doug fir only its either that color or more clear. Other times I'll lift a round thinking its so wet but yesterday I split some wood at a friends, at least 24-28 inches across half rounds. I picked it up thinking wow this was baking in the sun all summer and it's feeling like I just cut it last week. I went ahead and split it, its partially rotten on the outside, still solid enough to split but a pitchy fatwood center nugget was in the middle of some of these half rounds. I ended up just separating what was the fatwood so that she could start fires more easily.
So how do the boundaries work? Are they considered like the same place you go to all the time, some 100 by 100 foot lot or is it like a 40 some acreage that many others do the same thing as long as they can access it?
