Probably re-aggravated the injury from the idiot driver mentioned a little while back?

Not sure if I'm proud or ashamed, bribed lil one this afternoon successfully- twice -

Once with goldfish crackers to get her in from the field at the bus stop, then again a bit later with Wild Kratts (PBS kids cartoon) to do her reading.

wildwest don't think of it as bribery.. think of it as a reward for correct choices.. in the work world if your reliable and show up you get a paycheck.. that's not bribery.. I change daughters WiFi password a lot no WiFi unless chores and school work are accomplished and accurate she rushes to complete work to play...

young ones are so much easier.. she 12.5 YO.. 7th grade. first middle school dance on friday.. IDK much but that's a big deal! I had to go buy her feminine things tuesday.. o_O yesterday she gets off bus.. her mom come out and hands me a stiff drink.. only comment your gonna need this:bug:

a boy asked her dance and they are Goin out! :headbang: :rootintootin:... my only comment I get to spend as much :emptywallet:on bullits and guns as girls stuff..
lord help me.. called my bro.. his response I got an excavator:whistle:

I finally decided that today was the day I was going to get the woodstove out of the back of the Bronco. Not an easy task by myself, but its on the hearth and ready to season the paint. My back is less than amused with my ideas :headbang:

Wasn't there a fellow FHC hoarder around?

Heck Grizzly Adam is a couple hours away but he still comes running over if I need stacking done, help felling a tree or if I need my back scrubbed....hmm, that last one does seem a little odd actually.

And schlot comes a running whenever I tell him I've got pole wood. Not sure what that's all about.

Hang in there bocefus78 , and no doubt your neighbors are reciprocating the way you treat them. We all see how kind and generous you are here with us you've never met.

What's the model# yoops? Slightly interested, considering how not too far away you are.

It wasnt too bad actually, and the lifting that I had to do that bothered my back would have had to be done solo no matter who was helping me. I took the cap off the Bronco (ok THAT sucked alone) then put blocks under the stove legs and slid the dolly under. Then I 3 2X6's under the front and back lips and dropped it onto the dolly. I used aluminum ramps to get it off the truck onto the porch, then up into the house. Wheeled it through the house and up onto the hearth, and reversed the process to place it. That was where the most lifting occurred. With the dolly on tile, I couldnt rock it. I had to dead lift each side while my wife set the blocks.
