    Fall is officially here.

Raining off and on and running stove waaaaaaaaay more now.

Tried leaving the stove off at night and then running the big Whit in the morning to knock the chill off.

Got down to 55 F in the house the other morning brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..

Takes several hours to heat this barn back up after letting it cool all night, so decided to run the big stove from about 6 until midnight (First call to the head) and then shut it off until about 5 am or some and then rekindle it.

    Seems better.

Not long and we will be 24/7

Ran the big stove until 2 am and then shut down and now running the little Whit.

Was barely under 70 F at 5 am

Ahhhh yessss. Stove season is upon us

Rebuilding the kitchen can be a real job, especially when you need to use it too.

    Have fun

We had fall back at the end of August, then skipped winter and spring and it went straight to summer. Now it is just being wishy-washy; summer for a couple of days, then fall (and the stove kicks on), then summer again. Hey, if the weather were at a set pattern, what would people talk about most of the time?

I'm doing one side at a time. We have the summer kitchen also, that we prep product in for the farm, so it's not that bad.

Ten years ago we took the Mom in law into our home to care for. She's become totally dependent on the wifey for daily personal tasks. It's wearing my DW down. So I thought it best to put some cheer in her life and finish the kitchen. We're also camping this weekend on the Stlawrence as we have her mother in a Respite (nursing home) care center, so the wife can get her first break in a year and a half. She was getting frazzled and needed the break. We enjoyed a wonderful sunset and a nice campfire last night. Perfect end to the summer!
