Check out this nielsen model 250 my dad scored at a yard sale yesterday! I came home from camping and found it standing in my shop. It needs a little tlc but seems to be in good working condition. He also picked up another homelit wiz 55 with a bow to add to the collection.
Seen a very nice Nielsen grinder around same vintage (forgot the model number) sell on Feebay a couple months back.Was Buy It Now for at least a month,relisted twice then someone finally snapped it up.No stand (different model apparently) ,otherwise complete & in working order,it went for around $150 shipped if I recall,from Rockford,IL. Now I want one of the damm things!!!
Was it a model 100? I've gotta find a belt for this one and it should be a nice little sharpener. I'll probably set it up for lp chain.
