My 6 year has flag football today, crappy weather but that's football enjoy your day fhc family

 

Off to Mom's to take Thanksgiving dinner to her. Sun is coming out and it looks like it will be a nice day. Nice to go for a walk in the daylight as we were a little later this morning.

 

Had to make a stop on the way home for a meal. I had breakfast at lunchtime. Nothing major. Two eggs over easy with bacon, home fries, and home made toast. And a side of sausage gravy on 2 biscuits. (What? I let my son have one. One half. ) They have some good size cast iron hanging on the wall.


Also some old logging iron.

thistle , I can't remember if I've shown a picture of this old one before or not. Probably have. You know how the CRS can be.


Now we are home and it's time to relax a bit.

 

Super 33 I believe.... 3.3 cube/54cc,one of their early small gear drives produced from September 1954 to September 1956.

 

I mowed my lawn and used the leaf sweeper to clear a lot of the leaves from the front yard and the driveway. Chilling out and watching footbakl. Big Ben has been eating a lot of grass.

That was pretty cool. One mistake with those hot saws and there is no catching up. That's some power and speed!

 

I had an interesting conversation with one our vendors yesterday in Toronto. The short of it was that he couldn't get anyone to the shop to pull out a part we need because of the Holiday weekend. We all thought, ok, Canada is part of North America so I guess it makes sense they celebrate Columbus Day. On a subsequent conference call we learned it was Thanksgiving.

Finished this section of trail yesterday.
Came back this afternoon to drop and grab some dead oak buried in the laurel. Got 2 trailer loads.

 

Ahhh. Epic Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay Packers win.

 

I decided Id had enough, and came home early. Wife and kids will be home tomorrow. I just couldnt handle the thought of another bad nights sleep, would have made me a total mess tomorrow.

Nice and quiet in the house though! Hopefully the weather cooperates tomorrow so I can bang out some uninterrupted work in the yard. Not looking too promising though.

Wife just called, snowing down in Denver. Just raining here, nice inversion layer keeping things warm until later.
Tomorrow morning will be a different story.
