028 AV Super ?

    I picked up one last year for 75.00, decent saw. I have a small army of ugly cheap saws that I either loan or let others use when out cutting wood.

    FYI the air cleaner assembly is kinda a pain in the butt to deal with when you are trying to field service it.

    My opinion is not over 175.00.

    I feel a nice 028 avs would/should bring $200+ as they have the bigger cylinder than a regułar 028. They are nice saws.
    But this would be for a nice oem saw.
    just my 2 pennies :)

    I gave him an offer on that first day for $300 (cause I didn't know, and that was about the time I was posting this). He came back with like $375... But I then told him that I could find no reason to offer more than then my original offer. I've never heard back from him.

    But I'm starting to learn some prices of what is bring what prices... Right now after running your 046 that I got off of you. I think I'll be happy with my herd of stihls... The only thing will be getting both the 046 and 036 ported and MM'd...

    Good deal. That 046 will be a brute after porting. Im really happy for ya. It doesnt get much better than that.

    That would be a bit high $300. Not as bad as the used ms170 on our CL that started at $325 and now is down to $200?????

    No doubt on the 170 lol... I have a really nice little 028 avs i believe I gave $225 for it. But, its a nice one. But, as Dex said one time its all subjective.
