  We actually did do that on our old huge VHS camera in 2006. We figured it was the old siamese cat helping his two canine sisters, :jaw::bug::jaw: It was the new dumped pup I picked up (Blackie) that was spry enough then to clear the countertop in one leap like a deer up on the counter WITH the old siamese. It was hilarious. Almost as funny and the week before when I got home from work and found the cordless phone on busy signal. Redial showed 444444##44444**44444444444444:rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Looks like you will get a lot of wood from those trees.. Dogs look like they enjoy each other's company. Fun with leaves, used to be that way when we were young!

Bentley got a new kong and a fresh jug of peanut butter. He's a happy doofus. This makes my head and neck hurt just watching him.

No doubt! Thanks, super affectionate and vocal and always helping and around and wanting to give snuggly forehead bumps. His had kidney troubles after a long life right before lil one was born and is gone since 2010. We miss him.

How do you deal with a dawg that has "separation anxiety"?
Duke-(was King, then Scout for a day, now Duke), does not like me to be out of his sight.
What's a good way to get him to feel secure when I'm not around?

Sorry BK, our Blackie has that too, not fun for either dog/owner. I was traveling for work when he came to us in 2006 and was so well trained I took him with me on long drives for business in Co Sprgs a couple nights at a time after finding dog friendly hotels, probably didn't help....

Anyway one of his triggers is hearing my keys on my key ring clinking together as I gather stuff to leave the house. I read an article about desensitizing him to that sound. He's no where near perfect but clinking those keys around often while I was home and not leaving helped, then clinking them around and leaving for short periods at a time to progressively longer periods of time A LOT. Still a PITA because of his ear drum breaking squeeking, but, well, he's an awesome dog.

Try leaving a radio on - or the TV. Just voices may be calming to him. Other than that, all I've got is to get him a companion animal.

Radio stays on, he's got his big sis (Lilly the Lab), and cats. I think it will just be a matter of time with him, unless there's a technique to break him of it.
It's only been 4 weeks, I'll see how he progresses. Thanks, JB

When you leave and especially come back, ignore him completely. ....for a few minutes.
He will get the message that leaving and return are no big deal.
If you say goodbye and all kinds of love affection when you come home,
they figure out its a big deal.....and get anxious.'
    Good luck!
