Was 38ºF at 7AM outside. 65 inside. Beautiful sunny day and it's supposed to warm up quick and it's supposed to be warm now for a week. We'll be having morning fire soon enough.
We'll have windows open by noon.

Had several mornings in the 30's. One small area where we had a freeze but no wide spread freeze yet. Hope that happens soon though.

It's been warm for this time of year here, low 40's this am. No frost here yet, it's running late. That's ok cause we still have Tomatoes ripening. Soon enough I'll be burning.

You may know this, but if you have green tomatoes and it gets cold, bring them in the house on a cardboard flat or something. They'll get red in a week or two, and taste just fine. Don't have to put them in the sun.

Thanks, yeah the wife has been doing that for 30 years. She puts them in a brown paper bag with an Apple which gives of ethylene gas to ripen them. she checks each bag once a week to pull the ripened ones. She keeps Tomatoes ripening into Nov. that way. She also pickles green Tomatoes.

Nice, your wife has it down! I'll have to try the apple trick.

I've done it with just the paper bag.
Pears, too, but check the pears more than once a week.

Weather in GA right now couldn't be more perfect! 50 degree mornings, warming up to 79-80 and the evenings are mid to high 60's. I could handle that all year-

No frost on the palm trees here, mid 40 or so. Highs predicted for next week all in the 70s. :pete::cheers:
