39ºF this AM, Luckily the house was 68ºF.

No frost on the caars, Just some dew! :) Rent a wreck(2017 Jeep Compass) surprised me with heated seats and steering wheel that comes on with the defrosters. Didn't realize it until my hands got too warm.

Well Today work all day , but aching like a son of a gun. Yesterday hence the reason for the aching bones, joint , heck there is not much that does not ache to be honest.
I stored 10 ton (Spring Savings)on the side of the house with what I thought would be the best way for storing them and gladly it worked perfectly as the pellets were as they were when i gave them the hyper wrap. Sacrificial pallet, then another good pallet that I ran a layer of water and ice shield on, then the cardboard that the pellets sat on . Then after loading off my truck I stacked the pellets on the pallets and shrink wrapped them, put the cover that came with the pellets back on and shrink wrapped them again.
Yesterday feeling Froggy even though I am probably in the worst shape of my life i decided it was time to load the basement with Pellets !
Ended up unwrapping , loading on my truck, backing up to the bilco and carrying them down the stairs to stack again. All in All i brought down 6 1/2 tons of pellets and stacked them all.
Man am i aching got to have to get in better shape ! Feels good to have some stock in the house though .

I have the heated seats. They and the defroster turn on when I start the truck remotely. Can't live without them either.

Garage light has been rewired. The pull chain clicker died.

    Replacement clicker: $3
    Time: 30 minutes.

The rate I'm going, the box of bulbs I have will last a lifetime.

He's just read some of what I've done (at the same age - okay, 1 year younger) and trying to show up the girls - that'll teach him some respect :p

Seriously, moving that type of tonnage at one time is to be avoided if possible and just do a ton or two a day. I'm really good at giving advice - not so good at taking my own though

The Compass is completely loaded. Leather seats and wheel. Push button start, remote start and auto stop/start. Pretty cool, But still would rather have me buggy. Buggy has heated seats and mirrors. Mirrors come on with the rear defroster , Seats have their own controls. But I hardly even use them. Its heater will blast ya out within ten minutes. I just use the climate control. Too warm just makes me sleepy or car sick. Usually ride with the windows cracked unless its super cold out.

We were colder yesterday at 39ºF, Was 43ºF this am........... :dennis:No fog on the winders, We get a bit of warmth from the air off the lake. It was colder down in the valley. Looked like they might have had a bit of frost.

Wifey got all worried and plucked the rest of the garden. Got a couple of nice bell peppers we'll stuff for dinner tonight. A good size basket of matters she can this weekend. A few more squash she may can as well. I cut up the rest of the plants and opened up the fence so the chickens have a bit more court yard to play in. They will be wormin it for weeks to come.......... Keeps em occupied while moltin!

I don't think I could move that much, Most was 4 tons and I ached for days!! :pain:

Dave delivered 4 tons to a customer yesterday who lives on a lake but on the up side of the shore road. room for 2 cars in the parking spot, and stairs up to the house. with three landings each probably 18 stairs apart. Customer was taking 2 bags at a time when Dave left. was also going to call a couple of his buddies or the guy next door with a FEL to take the long way up to the house.

    Now that's a dedicated pellet burner!
