Dirty south here but I got a rude awakening this morn at 44. I know some of you will laugh but it got my attention. So I broke out the new 28-3500 this afternoon and burned off the oil. She runs good. My second one to date and it seems to have some small improvements over my last model that was 10 years old. The fan area especially and some of the welds were different. This is the one I got a Home Depot for $595 before the EPA made them illegal lol. It's not certified but I'm gonna run it like a race car hehe.

I had 36 this morning. I have a furnace like this which is about 6 years old -absolutely love it. Mine was around $1200 from Home Depot then.

Mid thirties this morning, but the baby let us sleep through the coldest of it. Bright sun doing its thing by the time we got downstairs and started the day - took the house from 62 up to 68 by dinner time, so no fire yet. 70s on deck for the week ahead, so it looks like we'll be off to a conservative start on wood consumption.

Right at freezing here, with a good bit of frost out on the grass. I took that as a good cue to start a fire of course ;-)

The outside of the stove never went past 80*. If this wasn't my second stove I would have probably taken it off but I know this baby stays cool on the outside.

40’s here in the mornings, warms up to mid 70’s daytime. Keeps house pretty comfy
Hope the house sitter is warm enough this weekend...although she knows how to run a wood stove, I hope she doesn’t need to start a fire- we’ve got her used to the dogs, but not to my stove:eek:

Looking at 64 for the morning. Going up to 80 or better for the day time high. No fire here. Seems it hasn't rained in week's. Dry as a popcorn fart around here.

I thought it was 38ºF two mornings ago but records say 44.
After tonight it is supposed to warm up again.
House is fair insulated so it's just a tiny bit chilly at sunup and then warms up fairly quick on a sunny day.
