I know I've been AWOL lately, business has been good and my competitive shooting hobby has been pretty consuming. Today the weather was right to work up the big pieces of red oak that came free of charge from a crew talk g stuff down on my neighbor hood. My CS-670 ran like a champ, and the noodles were REALLY deep when I finished. 36" bar was on it and it was taking every inch to buck them up.
Oh yea, the last pic of the shed shows some removed from the right side.... had a burn last night. Overnight low was 42 and it didn't break 60 during the day.
I filled two of my kindling convectors with noodles... left my slippers in the....... f slippers, they're creepy.
Nice work! Noodles...Noodles...and More Noodles.... I guess I didn't realize that Echo had a big enough saw to handle a 36" bar... Interesting...
Echo has some pretty stout power equip. They come with a 5 year warranty. Worth a look if one was in the market for a saw or weed wacker or whatever.
I have the 680 it's a beast. But it is heavy! It was given to me when I was clearing large pine trees to be turned into lumber for my cabin. I have put a 16 inch bar on it for cutting grapple loads. By the end of a session my knuckles are about dragging on the ground. Hopefully Santa is listening and he brings me a more suitable saw for limbing, cutting on the pile!
The guy I had here a couple years ago taking down my ash trees by my pole barn had a 110cc Echo , that thing was hard to pull , I don't remember where he said he got it but it was an older model they don't make anymore and they didn't sell them in the US
