I'm cooking baby back ribs with my special dry rub, my wife is cooking her awesome red sauce for pasta, and lasagna.

The patio door is open so I smell the grill with the ribs, and the cooktop has the red sauce bubbling away. Extra gooder smells. Plus I took a shower after firewood duty earlier.

Oh yeah, my wife made me one of my bloody Marys to enjoy.

    Ahhhhhhh.

Tear down phase of the dryer is now complete. Old motor on the left, still with the pulley on. New motor spins SO much easier!

Have to put different wire connectors on next, then start putting her back together.

Nice work. What is going on the concrete that makes it have to be 8" thick?

Its as close to confusion as I could find. Parents don't like finding out they need to buy left handed rifles.

Things never go as smoothly as you plan. We only got the trailer loaded tonight. There are bucked firewood es cut we just ran out of daylight to haul them out. 6400#'s of red oak. I took the truck and trailer across the scales at the feed mill. They turn the readout towards the window at night. I came in at 16k. Truck weights right around 6600# with me, my son and saws. I think the trailer is around 3000.

That's nothing to be ashamed of. That's still a great haul.

I finally got around to laying down the tile for my hearth pad this evening. I got everything cut and layed out earlier, but somehow missed that I was long by nearly 3/4" on the width? Jack Assparagus!!! I was rushing to make sure everything was done because my wife was leaving and I had to take over with my daughter. Not sure how I'll fix this one. Probably have to try and drag it outside so I can cut them with the angle grinder. I just hope it nothing cracks! Theres no base, just hardibacker and tile, as I have a height issue.

Another safe awesome day at the gun range. Here's just a small amount of what was shot today. There were many other thousands of cases that were in other buckets. 36 people. Close to 20,000 rounds shot. All to raise funds so we can get more youth involved in outdoor experiences. 20170930_215838.jpg

And the reason we do it.....the kids.

Special thanks to Alan at A&A optics and vortex for sponsoring this event.

As a civillian, I found this sign funny and scary. Evidently if you forget how to clear your weapon on the .mil base, you read the sign. 20170930_095120.jpg
