Ok I've heard of them...really don't have much interest BUT I found a low mileage unit for $200 that needs a new board...what do you guys think? Don...have you worked on any?

I looked at one of these ( Spirit 500 ) a few years ago, but passed: the company (Bosca) sold their interest to US Stoves several years ago, who in-turn has had difficulty sourcing replacement parts for these units, according to the interwebs. IIRC, that's the reason I passed on the stove. Otherwise a really nice looking unit. Same issue, control board was fried, seems to be common.. Stove I was looking at was just plugged into a regular power strip / no real surge protection. It may be the same stove.. LOL. I would make -absolutely sure- you can source a replacement control board before spending coin $$$ on the purchase.. Just looking out, is all.
Hello Yes, I worked on a couple. Some of the parts used are Enviro parts but not all. They are ok stoves just a Little different.
The DHC 3000 control panel is used in a lot of Enviro stoves no??? Isnt that the new West Point board as well????
Hello The new line of Hudson River stoves, Davenport, Kinderhook...etc are made by Enviro. The control panel does not look the same or have the same part number. See pic from Kindehook owner's manual below. It may be possible that the decal is the only difference I am not quite sure. The West Point and Saranac control panels always had the part # HR137s and a different decal. So I always go by the part # for the different stoves. It may be possible to put an Enviro control panel in a Hudson River just not sure if the wiring harness has the same pinout. Maybe someone can try it but usually there are no returns on panels if it does not work. :-(
Don, you put DHC-3000 in your description of the part on your site (for the west point) lol......google DHC-3000 and Enviro pops right up. Anyway, if it is the same, and all that was needed is a control board. I could send them mine.
