Don't you hate it when they don't give any instructions?

Nah...who reads the instructions. Only thing their good for is starting the fire after you get it put together

That looks great. Once the carpet is folded back and tacked down, and maybe a nice set of rod iron tools beside that beast, and it will look like it was built with the house. Hats off too ya Ranger for a job well done. Now sit back and enjoy the fruits from your labor. That's always the best part.

Good Lord this stove burns hot! I loaded her with Poplar and Tree of Heaven since

    A. It's still almost 70 degrees outside and

    B. That's the most BTU-less wood in my stacks.

Well, 2 hours later, and I have all of the windows open, the ceiling fan running, and the AC working overtime to keep us from being burned out of the house...and all the while with zero visible flames. Alien technology!

I loaded the firebox a little less than half-full of Poplar at 10 last night...once it got going, engaged the cat and turned the thermostat all the way to low. Woke up at 66, and the entire downstairs was toasty warm, with a full bed of coals remaining. I am VERY happy with the performance of the Blaze King!

Looks fantastic! What a great new focal point for the room. Where will you put your wood?

Thanks! I haven't really figured that out. I'm going to keep about half a cord stacked in the garage.
