Snowing here with about 3" on the ground. The state has used up all the money and salt it had on storms that didn't amount to anything so we will see about that. The forecast snow totals for this storm have been all over the place anywhere from 4-12 inches.

I know it isn't cold down here like it is for many of the membership up north, but it is still much colder than normal which has just as big of an affect. Record low for tomorrow is 10 and I have seen the forecast low at 3-5, so it should be shattered.

When there is snow on the ground hay use goes from 4 round bales or so a day up to 12.

While at harbor freight I bought a motion sensor alarm, (battery operated) for $15. I was looking at it when another tool shopper came up to me and told me he has one and really liked it. I've yet to put mine up ( still incapacitated from my falls) it seems to be a small cost for some protection.
