Must not be here, I see too many doing it. I've actually seen them going down the freeway at 70 MPH with them back there. I have also seen dead ones on the side of the freeway, you know that's what happened to them when they jumped or was throwed out.

SS, too bad I wasn't there biking with you. He definitely would have gotten jerked out of the truck and had his attitude adjusted. If he did that to a poor animal, he'd probably do something to a human as well. I have "0" tolerance for any fool that would abuse children, the elderly or animals.

Saved a cat from a neighbor a few years ago. Had to get him out of the area as I didnt want to take the chance of him going back to the house by habit. He was a good cat but the owner did not take care of him and he was getting really beat up in the woods over time.

Took him to a good, no kill shelter that I know cares about the animals. Shelter was out the area to accept from my town, but I convinced them to take him. I have adopted from there and donate to them regularly. He has been neutered (was pizzing all over my house and truck as I have cats), gotten healthy and placed in a good home. Took a while as he was skittish, but warmed up to anyone who gave him a chance. The neighbor never noticed (or cared) he was gone and he has moved on as well.

Sad part is, the dog probably couldn't wait to jump back up in there the next day, just happy to be going along somewhere.

I take my little dog with me alot when I go out running around. It has gotten to the point where he sits and shakes and whines as soon as the kids get on the bus. It can't be particularly exciting for him. He either has his head out the window, or he is curled up on the seat. He's just happy to be with me, because that's how he is. He came from a not so nice place and he has it easy now, and I like to think he appreciates it.

    Most Cops love dogs.
Go to your local PD and ask for a K9 Cop. Give him the best description of the guy, crackhead girlfriend, truck, and area. Everything you can remember.
    He'll find his azz.
    Trust me.

I absolutely think they know and appreciate there forever home. Dogs are much smarter than humans in many ways. Most of my dogs over the years have been rescues, and some how they just know when they have found their forever home and appreciate it every day. ;)

I know, what is it about face-taste? Or pant taste, or shoe, or whatever?
My Lab licks my pants, the paper I'm drawing on, face, hands, firewood, etc. etc. She may be a rescue but c'mon. Gotta be a Lab. thing.
Big dumb dawg. Tough to remember life before she showed up.

I have two labs that are lickers. One of them jumps on the bed in the morning and starts licking our faces when she thinks it is time to get up!
