Separated sometimes means trying to figure it out. Sometimes its workable and sometimes you just know its over.

    Figure it out................................

That's what I keep telling her, it's hard living like this...I read an article a while ago (I think it was an article) where they asked old married couples what was their secret to staying together after 30-40 years of marriage...most of the answers were something to the extent that "we just stayed together". There were no "secrets" to staying together, they did just that "stayed together". Basically they said no matter what they figured it out, no one left....they just stayed together. Sometimes easier said than done....lol

Very true, both have to figure it out. Generally when things are going sideways, there are lines are are being danced upon during this period. When one side obliterates the line (read between the lines) on more than one occasion then it is time to make a decision. When trust is completely gone, its gone.

Just talked with a contractor buddy of mine and asked about the poly frames. He says they have em but he doent like them due to movement required for climate changes. He said to try and repair it and then use a poly molding-hopefully it helps.

edit-I just saw that HD has wood frame pieces with the bottom being poly. If this doesnt work, I will check into my buddy building a door frame from scratch with that stuff. No experience here building frames from scratch.

My thought is to use wood but paint it with an outdoor water proofing/sealer paint like Watertight or Drylok. Or, paint with regular paint then after curing spray it with Flex Seal. Either method would require upkeep every couple of years, but just about anything does.

Well the garden relish is in the jars. One last thing to can, my grandmother's piccalilli. Believe me when I say we might have to buy green tomatoes. Gard stuff is mostly well on its way to ripe. Larry it wears me out so if you wish to still can go to it. I only handle the hot stuff and do a bit of grinding used to do all of it for up to four different things at a time when we first moved here. Now I'm basically useless just can't last long enough.

As in most of that tan stuff is helicopeters - only 2-3 leaves in that entire group (all the leaves already fell)

    Prodigious amount of maple helicopters-crop.jpg

And to think, last year I was questioning my conclusion that they were maples for two reasons; chitty color (pale yellow turning to crispy brown within a day) and absolutely zero helicopters formed.

I run into the ex on a regular basis at the local grocery store - him and the, um, horse he road for the last year we were together. Glad I don't break out in hives as that would give him a reaction that he is looking for. Wish I could break out in :fart::fart: at those times though :D

I have re painted it yearly as well as caulking the joints. Nothing seems to work here so far as the moisture is just crazy in that corner with zero sun-ever.

Went to Bayley's lobster and other fine food and did in a lobster roll for lunch. Came home and had a geezer nap. Well the deer are back for the fall. Three were in the "front" yard this morning. They have been away all summer.
