Way too hot here. The dewpoint this morning is high so it is very uncomfortable. Temperature is climbing again. Presently 87 so we'll top out over 90 again. This is crazy, the last day of summer is the hottest day of the year. First day of fall will be over 90. Btw, this is the first time this year we've been at 90 or above. I thought we might get through the year with no 90 but wrong again.
2c/35f right now. I didnt do an overnight burn but I was able to coax a few coals from last night into a fire to heat the house back up.
43°F now and had some snow flurry's last night and more for tonight.........There are road controls over some of the passes and a couple of road closures over the real high passes.......Back into the low 80°s for next week.......No fire yet maybe this weekend.
No fire for the immediate future. 5 day forecast: Highs 80s and lower 90s. Lows in the 60s. I believe I had already set a few fires this time last year.

late 60's today in London, England. Burning Cherry and oak tonight. I love the smell of carbon monoxide in the morning. BB
Official temp in La Crosse today was 95. It beat the old record by 1 degree and that was set back in 1891. They must have had global warming back then too
64 degrees right now in coastal CT. High of 79 today. It been breezy. A very sunny and windy day. Sometimes I think of the type of day as a "1 percent day", imagining the woodpile loses that much moisture in this weather. Probably an overestimate for everything but the recently CSS stuff.
It's supposed to hit 90 tomorrow. Perfect day for a fall nascar race! Ugh. Nothing better than a Sunday work event in the blazing sun. I forsee an early exit shortly after the race starts
I heard this heat is supposed to finally start moving east but it will be a slow process. We're not scheduled to start cooling off until Wed or Thus next week. Records broken here too.
