Decided to raise the roof so it's not so hard on the back. Starting with the demo.

I screwed most of it together knowing that I would rebuild in the future. Moving to the raising of the roof.

A few more cross braces to go. The roof is just tar paper for now till I figured out if I'm using shingles or find some metal. Next to fill it.

Are the pallets resting directly on the ground? I'd think you'd want them up on thin blocks, at the least.

    Nice looking.

OK my house was designed by a man.. never buy one of those.. it's 2200 plus Sq feet with a 10 by 10 kitchen and (2) 5 by 8 full baths! and it had no closets...o_O..

my wife is so not demanding.. but in a U shaped kitchen that's got 3 feet between stove and fridge:headbang: if I hade made it big enough she wouldn't complain.. I mean we literally got a bright orange tub in master bath:rofl: .. had toilet and sink that matched.. that got accidently broke with a framing hammer:whistle: I built her 2 more closets..:D bath will get shower this winter... but post and beam house making kitchen bigger is not in budget yet... so til then I am the dishwasher

which reminds me gotta install doors on those closets but they are full now

Our house had calf scour yellow tile backsplash and countertops and carpet in the kitchen. When the wife saw it she said "I'm not living in that!" I did not even try to change her mind I just made an offer anyways :D they accepted it, and this happened :makeitrain":makeitrain":makeitrain" 4 years later with no end in sight! My projects have gone from reasonable to bigger and more expensive ones I've put off as long as possible!

Yes I wished I would have blocked up the bottom pallets. My guess is in a few years they will be about garbage. I screwed most of it together again so when the time comes I'll get them off the ground.

Just a framing gun. I don't use it much, but when I do it's worth the money every time.

Just took the tape measure to it while dealing with the mosquitoes :dremel:. According to the cord calculator a little over 3 cords. I might figure out some kind of roll up tarp system for the front of it.
