If you like trains then how do you like this Grahamt ? These are some pictures from the locomotive shop that I work in.
Haha. I know that I got off subject but this one I guess would be a better fit. This is another photo from our shop in the 1930's. Is this good enough for a fire dragon?
Hi Woodwidow, If my memory serves me correctly, Robert Bateman lives on one of the Islands off of Vancouver Island - Salt Spring Island? I've added a few more Bateman prints to the collection over the years, but nothing lately... I think I ran out of money in the end...lol BB
As some of our fellow wood chuckers like the sight of motorbikes, here is a pic of the best bike I have ever owned and like a complete numb nut, chopped it in for my current ride. Regrets?... I have a few...
There is a lot of Beemers runnin around here...dealer is next town over...used to work there actually
Orate bob how's it going. Just give ya a quick hello inbetween my favourite things. Log fire, whiskey and bladerunner.
Mr Two Chop, We have 3 things in common. Bladerunner Whiskey Log fire.... oh....and this forum Thanks for dropping in. My take on the end scene from Bladerunner: I've seen things you wood chuckers wouldn't believe. Attacked logs off the side of a pick-up. I've seen flames flickering near the ten inch nails sticking out of my pallets. All those moments will be lost in time....like....beers 'n spam....time...to...FRY! Yes. I've lost the plot BladeLogger BB
You get you wood from a grocery store?!? Welcome to the club, iBob! Glad you found us! You'll fit in just fine here
Thank you, Tim! It feels like I've been here alot longer than a few days. The welcome has been awesome! Cheers, BB
Ah, well, it is a Honda/Yamaha/Suzuki/Kawasaki/BMW dealer (and I think they have added Moto Guzzi since I left) I was a mechanic there...I mainly worked on the Jap stuff (Honda Gold Wings were a specialty) I didn't mess with the BMWs too much...they are kinda different to work on once you get used to how the Japs do stuff (we said BMW stands for Backwards Motor Works ) It was fun for a time, but this particular shop was poorly managed and had a lot of internal politics that I hated, so I moved on after a total of 9 years there. Its tough to raise a family on a bike mechanics salary in many places too...
I love the use of the old shopping trolleys as wood storage bins and they are easy to move. I wonder if I can find some old trolleys here?
