Was just gonna say that the ole girl(s) are gittin 'er dun...but decided it was maybe a little disrespectful and just made the comment that I did instead...should have just zipped the lip (key board) entirely...

No, I would not have been offended by that. I get the reference. You should have seen the ribbing I got in another post about freezing something off

Some of that outer stuff will come off when you split it.

It is some type of pine tree; not sure which. I can see a live one from my office window so I may try to look it up.

We had a storm in the past; would have to look up when as it has been awhile. We got a really wet snow that hung on the trees; especially the pines. Then the wet snow changed to freezing rain. One of the worst storms in this area; lots of trees went down, especially the pines since they had all that weight on them. I was without power for three days. That was before I had a saw or anything. So these pines have been down for some time. Hopefully I can salvage some wood from them to keep me warm.

Might be able to shave that outer stuff off with the saw or splitter .
To bad you don't have a draw knife

Funny you should say that. We went to Blue Ridge Ga on our holiday trip. In one of the shops I saw an old draw knife that was rather worn out. They wanted $40 for it. I didn't buy it.

I am heading back out to see about getting more. The little echo ran out of fuel so I took a break. No rest for the weary.

Broffel. (pronounced bra-full. Necessary for both motorboating and freezin them off).

I was thinking the dotted zero might be better but I could not find a code for it.
