Morning all. Went for my walk without a dog this morning. Yesterday was funny as I took Cricket. I am out the door and had to go back for poopie bags. Halfway around the walk, she makes a deposit and I realize I forgot the flashlight to find it. Fortunately it was under a street light. Quite dark here until after 6:45 AM.

    Done.

Pics are hard since it's so bright out. Here's one.

I was planning on cutting wood this afternoon. Current temp is 85 with 67% humidity. Bag it, I'm taking the family out to an early dinner at Texas Roadhouse.

A few pics of some of the progress getting the trails into decent shape. Making them wide so it requires more work, but I want to be able to drive my pickup through if I want. Two horses side by side need room as well. Seven foot wide would have been good enough and horse riders can follow one another. But I'm going for 12' + right now while I'm doing it. Get er done.

Setting up for another stump. I must have pulled 35 stumps and moved or buried 20 good size rocks over the last few days. Time consuming. IMG_3274.JPG

Break time in some A/C now though. Pretty warm here. About 80.

Made it to town for ANOTHER eye test (retina stuff because of a medicine I have to take). Sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes and got a call on my cell, it was the eye office asking if and when I would be there and to reschedule. I said I'm right here in your waiting room. Got me in the room and he showed me indeed the paperwork said I checked in at 11:27. Next, off for bloodletting for a different doc tomorrow. Yep, no orders in the lab. 2 voicemails, went and treated myself to Wendy's fast food and came back. Nada. I'm sorry, I have rheumatologist, a pulminologist, an endocrinologist, cardiologist and some other docs (even the eye doc) and they all communicate and transfer records seamlessly, this new PCP has dropped the ball on every test, blood work order, even prescriptions since I started there early 2013. AND, its a geriatric doc office, can you imagine how frustrating that would be for some senior citizens?

Venting over, thank you for listening

That's rich, calling you a no-show when you're checked in and sitting in the waiting room. Sounds like the practice dearly needs better front desk staff.

They said it was because it was a test they don't do often, so notifying the tech I was ready was a different procedure..... SMH

Gaaah! I never wait more than 10 mins, without asking what's going on. Unless they have a big stack of People magazines.

Gooder idea. It's the same temp here now. AC is on in the house. I used the open window technique in the car on the way home. I didn't want to turn the air on in the car.
