Siding work is my least favorite thing to do mainly becaude its so tedious and time consuming. But it is also very rewarding when you can stand back and look at your work when your done. That looks great. Not a small task either.

Oh man, unbelievably tedious...especially when you're working alone! I will be more than happy to tear down that scaffolding for the last time. My dad was visiting from CA for the past couple of weeks, so I got his help playing cut-man for a couple of days...what a difference having an extra set of hands makes!

That is a huge house! Are most houses that big out there. Not slums but regular houses? Looks great!

And the siding is finally finished! Freeking finally...I put in about 3 hours of labor after work today, and got 'er done. Man that feels good!

Scaffolding is all packed up and loaded in the bed of the truck, (most of the) north side of the house is good and pressure washed, and the extra siding pieces are ready to go back to the store...now it's on to staining/sealing the slab and setting the stove in place. So ready to get back to a normal pace of life!

Looks like it was built with the house. Fantastic job. Now for the easy part (said no one ever about concrete work). But at least its not siding and scaffolding. Keep us posted. :binoculars:

That's an incredible stack of scaffold! No way you'd find me up there. Very nice job on all of this. I'm anxious to see the finished product and the first fire!

Me too. Good idea to light it off outside to get the paint cured.
