i dread sharpening anything over 84 dl by hand.

 

That's brutal.

 

i take my chains to the stihl dealer he only charges me 6.00 for a sharpening or 8.00 for sharpening and raker lowering.

 

That'd take me all day.

 

Do they do a good job? No one here left that does.

 

It might take me longer with all the interruptions from my kids lol.

 

Make them do it.

 

he just lightly touches the tooth unlike the other dealers than grind off half and burn the metal.
no one in my area can sharpen a chain like that man.

 

Takes a half hour to touch it up. 2 hours to do it rigbt if it's rocked at all

Or 10 minutes on a Simington

 

None around here either. I get a real funny look when I try to buy double bevel files.

Lol the Simington gets the job for now.

Can only get the stihl 3corner's here. I kinda like them but keeping the gullets clean sucks.
