Finished splitting for the day, few Long pieces that will need cutting later. The 046 isn't running very good, maybe carb adjust time so no big pieces or noodling today. I'm scheduled to pick up (10) aluminum framed totes in the morning for $100 so that should help me get the wood pile looking good.
9 of 10 totes waiting to be unloaded at the shop, some still have liquid in them so I need to do some research.
Starting to see a little progress. I can't decide if I want to stack as much seasoned wood into the totes and move closer to the big shop door?
Totes everywhere, the forklift is a life saver. Trying to decide where to put the Ford diesel tractor project for the winter.
One more pic. 8 totes of wood cut this week stored on the East side of the shop, 5 totes of seasoned wood that will go next to the big shop door. Still more seasoned wood that I'll add to the totes when needed.
The sign at the wood lot says it's closing on 9/22/17, not sure what will happen to the wood still there. We cut some today but still to hot, wait it's starting to rain, this nail did me in.
Good to see the old silverado still working hard. I have a '97 Z71 same style as yours. Has 217,000 hard miles and is still going like a champ. I mostly use mine around the farm and town now but i just used it to pull toy hauler and rzr to Tennesse since my duramax is broke. I think the 90's Z71 models are some of the best trucks ever made.
