No, not too late. Our dumped dog was named Skipie. He took his new name immediately before we ever learned his old name.

After reading about Beetle-Kill 's new dog's name we are changing Blackie's name from Rylee to #moveoverboy or #getoutofthewalkwayboy, or #mypreciousliloleman

That was really interesting. I have considered having one of our done since they are suppose to be pure breed and I have the pedigree charts for all of them. I don't think I will though because what if they come up undefined mixed breeds. It would be disappointing. Being a genealogy research, I had to import their pedigree data into my software program. It made for an interesting chart as the half brother and sister duo ended up being related to the one we got from the States.

I probably wouldn't have had the DNA testing done either, except this was for a friend and colleague who started it as a personal hobby project that turned into sort of an out reach program to the local public for our employer. The fee was just to cover the cost of the raw data generation. My friend did all of the analysis himself. He ended up doing over a hundred dogs. I had Willow sampled for the second round he is doing. She probably won't be too interesting as the information we have on her is that she is a true F1, a 50-50 mix of Labradore and Beagle, if that is true it should be very obvious by the analysis. I really wanted to have one of the brothers sampled as they are supposedly a Black Mouth Cur-Walker Hound-Bloodhound-Plothound mix. Neither one of them would cooperate with the cheek swab sampling though.

This guy was really flying across the water in the wind today. If it was blowing any harder, I think Timber's ears would have lifted her off the ground. 20170917_112254_002.jpg

Feral kitten was found by my friend in the woods a few months ago.
Tamer now still attacks stranger's though no fear at all.
He follows like a dog and sits at my feet when i'm working on saw's.
    Won't run when i test saw's either. 20170825_192214.jpg 20170619_180449.jpg

Ha!! Dear Husband is the only one I've ever known to eat salami sandwiches, and ya, we all eat them now. She's doing quite well, but still sucker punches the dogs, us, and our kid when she feels like. We're doing what I call Lila Kitty Bootcamp. Both her and the kid get warned when she starts acting frisky-- for scratching us she gets a quick puff on the face (try it, it works), and the dogs, umm, I feel bad for them but they are on their own.

Ya, not great on the arteries, but good sammy!

Have you noticed since Sara Lee bought Gallo a few years ago its all filler - like sawdust filler? Needless to say we have not bought Gallo in a while.
