    I'm sorry you have this challenge. Doesn't help that the days are getting shorter. Do you notice that at the height of summer you are in a good place most of the time and then as the days get shorter, those times get fewer and farther between?

    Hang in there our friend.

    One thing I find important to do is get outside, a lot. Just getting out and walking or doing something else outside can improve your day. Try to do this everyday.

    What do you do with yourself for work and play XJ?

    Have you got someone to talk to outside of your normal circle of friends? Someone you can trust not to be interfering but just to be an ear to hear what you are going through? Gasifier, bogieb and Midwinter had some good ideas too.

    Get out of that rut! We all get down sometimes. I battled depression earlier in life. Things were not going how I had planned/thought they would. I had trouble coming to terms with that for a while. Obviously, I have no idea of the particular hardship that you are dealing with. Just realize that everyone has problems they are trying to overcome and learn to see the bright side of a bad situation. I finally had to realize that I don't get all that much time here on Earth, so I should be trying my best every day to do something that makes me smile and enjoy my life.
