I'm in Orlando. Few branches down and a little bit of water where it shouldn't be but looks no worse off than a mild thunderstorm happened.

 

am I nuts okay a little bit but really my wife just told me that going to Costco for lunch was romantic..

I was like what who .. I offered to take her lunch on her day off.. her response was let's go to Costco it's cheap we need chicken anyway.. and it's family orientated that's makes it romantic.. since taxes are due in 6 weeks I was like lunch at Costco is less than 10 bucks

yup I am gonna keep her!!! plus she loves her wood heat and can run splitter with me!

 

Canadian border VT , make sure to get some laundry detergent. That's extra romantic.

 

I can't at costco.. she like Gain wildflowers and waterfalls it's at dollar store and walmart! yup I once dated a woman once who needed 45 minutes to get ready to drive 5 minutes to get a gallon of milk... I married a different wonderful woman who still has the rest of the makeup from wedding.. and she is far more beautiful inside and out!

Yep, just heard my brother's house in St Petersburg Florida is all good. They've even got power.

 

Have friends who flew down to Zephyrhills today, about 1/2 hr from St Pete. Sounds like it's at least possible they may get their power back sooner than later... can't imagine what it's going to be like if they don't, in the Florida heat without AC...

Midway through the week and I think I am making progress at work. Drives my co-worker crazy when she sees stuff all over my desk in piles. I know where everything is - sort of. I eventually find what I am looking for - sort of. I am suppose to listen to a video about a new program but the phone won't stop ringing and people still come to the counter. I would much rather have a regular written manual than a video. It is easier to work through.

 

Trying to get back into firewood life again, got 2 loads of split wood from the wood I split in january, it's nice and dry, some maple and ash, 77f here in NY today,

 

ugh. finally home from PA. Drove down Monday, got a crappy nights sleep, and was up at 4:30 yesterday morning. Spent the day in a training class, then headed towards home at 5:00. Stopped at 10:00 in CT and then got another crappy nights sleep. damm hotel beds! Woke up at 4, and couldnt get back to sleep. Hit the road at 4:30 this am to beat traffic and get home to catch up on work, I got to surprise my little girl pulling in the driveway shortly after she woke up too. Now Im so run down my entire nervous system is vibrating.
