Yea I didn't explain that yall put them togeather from a box of parts. And that they were the 90cc 660 copy
The downfall of the Chinese saws is their variable quality. You might get a good one, and you might get one with machining or casting flaws that create leaks.
You wouldn't think so, but have you noticed how dang tall these kids are getting anymore?! Hardly see a high school senior under 6' (male)
I'm 35 and I'm 6'2" and strange thing is my 2 best freinds from Hugh school as well are both like 6'2 and 6'3" ish.
We're the same height and basically the same weight, depending on my donut or cheese curd intake that week. I see the same thing, a lot of tall kids these days. It must be all that GMO/ growth hormone crap in today's food. I don't have a Chinese saw, yet. I would love to get one of those hutzl 660 clones this winter as a fun little project. Now, I do have a predator Chinese Honda clone, chonda for short. It's a great motor, starts up easily, runs great and is quiet. It was well worth the $99. A Briggs and Stratton similar engine is $400.
Many of you pups don't remember this, so it'll be up to me....I guess!! Back in the 60's, about all you heard was that cheap Japanese stuff/junk/no good/trash. You get the idea. Whenever something broke or failed, you turned it over and there it was..."Made in Japan". Usually found another (and cheaper version) of whatever it was you were looking for. Only point I'm trying to make here is that if history repeats itself (ever hear that before?) the stuff made in China will gain in it's quality....
In my grand father in laws tools I actually have some of those "cheap japanese " tools. And several other older things from parents or grandparents I have some of that Japanese stuff
Like I said the current line of tools that HF offers (hand tools) is world's better than the ones they had 10 to 15 years ago.
I have 2 sets of flat ratchet wrenches though (SAE and Metric) I bought there about 10 years ago , never a problem with them , used them a lot too , even put a piece of pipe on em a couple times and they didn't break
I have a metric set I bought this last year and lost the 10mm one a few weeks agoI bought them for a specific job and a specific screw that I could only get like 1/8 turn of a wrench each time on a nut against the firewall. I did sparkplug on my 01 Highlander and you have to pull the intake off to get to the back ones. Unless your some Houdini like one guy I know that does it without and even though he told me the exact combination of stuff he uses I could not get them out???
I here ya on the 10mm socket couple others in a set also - each set should have about 3 or more of that size dang things have legs or something cause they keep vanishing.
6' 2" 210 lb., should be 180. Actually there are no girls taller than 5' 11", although I know some who are 5' 14" and one young lady who is about 5' 19".
