    By that time of day it was too late, my meds are close to maximum effect except for the metop. which was about 1 hour from it's second dose. Have to watch the clock, noon time is about the right time for me.

    Pellets were cheaper this year by about $40/ton.

    Well, an update on my daughter & my ex's journey out of Florida.....as of 5 pm, they're about 3 hrs away from their hotel. Lots of traffic leaving Fla, but getting better the farther north they go. Should be at their hotel by around 7PM...been taking turns driving since 7 am. They both said they need to find a bar and a good restaurant.....:drunk: :beerbbq: LOL

    Yes, the room is good until Monday night.....but can't imagine it will be a problem getting it for another day or so....will be checking into that today, as what is left of Irma is now forecast to head right up through Georgia.

    In Lake George watching the weather and trying to decide when to ride and when to go to the show and village. Weather and news channels only talking about Irma. Looks like as usual Pete did a wise move getting his folks out of Florida. Hoping they are safe and sound. Praying for Floridians.

    My wife's sister and her husband have been up here for the last 2 weeks. They headed home to Orlando yesterday morning. They should be there either late today or early tomorrow. I think they headed the wrong direction.

    I had a planned day off from work. Was going to attend something over the weekend, but with all the cash layout over the last couple of months, stayed home instead (plus my neck has been giving me fits the last couple of weeks, probably good to stay off bike). Anyway, I hit a few planned, and a few unplanned small projects;

    • Sealed up some cracks in the cinderblock wall beside the garage (part behind all the dirt and rock wall that were removed a couple of months ago) - planned
    • Laundry, dump run, dishes -planned
    • Caulked the overhang over the back door - planned
    • Nap - semi planned
    • Scrubbed tub and enclosure - unplanned
    • Trimmed tree branches that would threaten the cat pen with heavy ice or snow, also cut down some saplings. Then ran all that stuff to the dump (did leave larger stuff by road in case anyone is interested in small diameter green maple wood) - unplanned
    • Helped a guy at work do some stuff to get product out the door - unplanned, but knew it was a possibility he would need help
    • Installed drain and p-trap in the bathroom sink (finally decided I wasn't going to hire a plumber and doing it myself) - unplanned. Now just need to get connector between extension from P-trap to the sewage pipe!
    • Sitting here drinking some vodka for the first time in months just because I can :cheers: - unplanned.
    First pic is after drain and plug was installed. You can see a bit of water puddled from testing for water tightness before going further. Second pic is of p-trap and way to the left is where I'm running pipe to. I may get to use the "new" vanity sink - only been sitting there a year (as of Labor Day weekend 2016) and had the cabinet since fall of 2015 :bug:[we need a turtle emoji!]
