I have very little experience working with the kind of metal needed to implement you suggestion. My path thru the woods is less than 6 feet wide in spots so anything on the outside of the trailer would not be the best Bouncing over exposed tree roots while going up a hill prompted me to come up with a way to secure the brush cutter in the trailer. As far as being an artist, not here. I have trouble drawing a straight line using a ruller:rofl:

Sophisticated rednecks would say "redneck ingenuity" i am not very sophistcated. Im gonna be honest, I am probably gonna use the clamp ideas on some projects. Yet another idea that I can utilize. As soon as I got home from work today, I went to my shop and started counting clamps!!!

Just a note to anyone using the clamps like I pictured earlier:
Measure from the center of your (trimmer) shaft to the outside edge of powerhead. Remember to build your wood out that far. I'm my case 2 standard 2x4 on top of each other was perfect for my fs90r's.

Erik B if you can cut steel flat bar with an angle grinder or sawzall, and drill holes in said steel, you are capable of doing this with metal.
