    Aw come on....we'll get a week in the singles, 2 years ago we had several days broken up in a week below zero...
    No wind is not bad, but 15°F's with a sustained 10-20 mph wind is downright :shiver:

    It was true. I needed an arctic parka. How do you folks survive up there? We drove up to do some yard work and by the time the sun started dipping to the horizon I thought I was going to freeze to death. I was jumping up and down and everything to try to keep the blood flowing. I didn't take the proper clothes with me because I have never been in the frozen north in November before.

    Yes, I remember that. Here the temps never got above zero and then way down at night. I lost some of my garden perennials due to the roots freezing. The fig froze to the ground and had to come back from the roots. That was before I had the wood stove so I was freezing trying to keep the electric furnace from constantly running. I wore coats in the house.
