    I've had no ambition and been lazy on this Labor Day. Pretty much got the laundry and dishes done, re-installed the P61a ash pan door (put a new gasket on yesterday) and read until my Kindle complained about battery life left. Do have to go to work tonight for a short time (nope, no extra pay, just straight time), but it won't be a full night.

    I was up in the North Maine Woods the last 5 days. Best weather we saw was after we hit pavement on the way home. High temp Friday was 40 with a stiff wind all day long. Had the woodstove burning in the camp pretty much all day. I'm pretty sure I smelled worse than a bull moose during the rut by the time I finally got to take a shower.

    Wifey and I took a Scoot with about 8 other bikes through Conn. and Mass. Went to sons house to get a grandson fix since we may not get a chance to see him next weekend. Cleaned truck interior and put some traction tape on my open trailer ( I cleaned it with deck wash last night )
    Last year the Road Kings front wheel washed out on the trailers wet, slimy boards and darned near dropped it. That won't happen again.
    Wife qued up some righteous ribs and now I'm enjoying NHRA Indy races. Pretty good Labor day.
