.....so....I'm go'in down the road. Minding my own business.
Pick'n up a piece of wood here and a piece there. Got'a pile here
and a pile there. Kind of keeping it to myself. Kind of enjoy looking at
those piles......enjoying that glow of a fire and watching the snow come down
    every year. Life is good.
I always knew that there were other people out there....like me......
Then stumble across a whole group that are willing to stand up in front of the
world and say it....out loud...."Hi. My name is justdraftn and I'm a wood
    hoarder." Holy Snikeys!

So here it is.....there is never enough. In my time of hoarding, I have built 3 sheds.
I have built the pallet cribs, covered w/tarps, old plywood, visqueen, old pieces of tin
roofing. Since my natural wood sources have dried up, I scrounge.
So my last/present shed, is full.

So, I decided that there was some space between the
wood shed and tool shed, covered w/a tarp.

    IMG_6053.JPG

    ....then, come across more wood....
there was room against the house.

    IMG_5809.JPG

    ....maybe a another row....'

    IMG_5820.JPG

    .....couple more rows....

    IMG_6051.JPG

Then tried the pallet source of wood. Put a pile by the
garage door for the down stairs fire place.

    IMG_5802.JPG

Then, tried the deck store and all their
redwood scraps, so made another pile by the lower fence.

    IMG_5852.JPG

Then, I have a great respect for a fine tool.....and certainly don't need any encouragement
to get one...... ...so after just a few weeks hanging around here......what is sitting on
    my patio.....

I know I need some help.....but I don't think I'm going to get it here.

I see no problem at all, you are perfectly normal......just talkin' with the rest of us normal folks. You make it sound like this is some sort of support group for guys and gals with issues. :wacky:

Not a problem and we're happy to have you aboard. However, you do need to get that wood split so this means you'll have to handle that stuff all over again. lol Many of us have done the very same thing. Just a little more work to look forward too but it is enjoyable work.

Help? You don't need no steenkin' help.
Heck, you don't even need encouragement.

I'm the splitter. Not sure what my HP and tonnage rating is. :BrianK:
I split for an hour after work, once a week. It's good exercise.
...now, as I understand it....the new Fiskars just jumps
in there and does that splitting for you.....:axe:

Good point. For us, just depends on the winter. Not much of a winter last year.
