    Rain. That sucks. I have a deck to stain and truck to wash and detail. Also have to get the trailer looked at so there are no problems towing bike up to Lake George for the Adirondack Nationals next week. Now Willis has made me hungry so I'm taking wifey to breakfast cause she worked so hard yesterday and last night painting the kitchen and there is still a little left to do in there.

    Spent our last day at Lake McD(they close the boat launch labor day weekend-beaches closed last weekend). Chilly until the sun came out and that didn't last long. So we had jackets and heavy shirts on. Luckily there was little to no breeze. But still chilly. Bite was fair in the morning and we managed a few decent bass. Pops got the first one on a crank bait just nipping the top of the weeds.

    Joey nipped one shortly after......... He got his on a chatterbait. Yoyoing it in the weeds..

    Caught a few others here and there. But the bite almost die until after lunch........... Then pops caught an oddity. A big ole beast. Brown bullhead on a crankbait. 3 pound at 18 and 1/2 inches long. Don't usually catch these with moving baits. Only caught 2 others in my some odd years of fishing........

    Then the sun hide behind the clouds and Joey kicked my tail with a topwater walking bait!!

    Another hater - love it! :cool:

    Well, for lunch I'm having, err - just took the last bite (so no pics); eggs with refried beans scrambled in, then black olives and salsa on top. Pretty close to what you had for breakfast it looks like. While I was grocery shopping earlier I was thinking of leftovers in the fridge, plus the 2 dozen eggs in there while and came home with very little but essentials (coffee, yogurt, salad). Lunch was awesome!
