When ever someone new comes to my place, I tell them to look for the parking meters as most of the other residents don't have metered parking. 3 of the 4 are would I would term collectable, MacCay, Duncan Miller Model #50, and POM aka Park O Meter and the final is a plain Jane model #60 Duncan. Anyway, they are different and amuse me. Kade the dog is stalking tweety birds in the spruce trees in the distance. Yatt says Hi.
Yatt is equal opportunity in regards to peeing. He drinks water like a camel about to trek across the desert just before the morning run so he can go more.
I put a fire hydrant at the corner of my driveway to use as a landmark as my house and driveway are hidden till you've passed it. I tell people to look for the fire hydrant, it's the only one in the valley. Someday the township will make me remove it. (Maybe get a pic when the snow melts.)
good lookin pooch? do you hunt him? My neighbor had one, she was a fantastic girl, he was also my GC for a large addition in 1990's so she spent alot of time in our house. He was a wise kind man of few words like being discussed on another thread here, mostly used facial expressions. It was amazing to see them interact! He never could remember the breed, thanks.
Yes they are both trained, finished hunting dogs. Yatt is getting a little old though. He will gladly hunt and do very well, but he pays for it the next day. My wife then chews my a$$. When Yatt was younger, he was one of the dogs I ran as a guide on a game farm for clients.
The meter you are talking about is a Duncan, model 60. (not a collectable meter but functioning). It was in operation about 8 years ago. Rates are now $1/hour.
They are sleeping partners too, both sleep on the bed. Kade sleeps under blankets and will steal all the covers if you let him. Here is Kade when he was young. He got into the garbage downstairs and got the garbage can lid stuck on his head. Now does this say guilty?
