Looks like it works fine. I bought a "new-old-stock" board off Fleabay for $125. I now have spare parts of EVERYTHING for my stove.

I did...I've been waiting a long time for a "deal" to pop up on a board and it finally did. I'm almost ashamed to say I'm burning this morning, it was 47 degrees here.

    Hello
    What year is your CB1200?
My MFD is June 2006 and getting shabby.

    It seems to work ok.

Is your new control box the clear plastic or the old gray box?

    Nice

What do you think about the optional firebrick?
I know the log gets ashy and needs cleaning all the time.

I bought the firebrick used on ebay last season. I like it but I do leave it "loose" so it's easier to remove to clean behind. I would never use the logs, they look like ash collectors to me.

You had an excuse, you needed to test out the control box and other parts for functionality!
